AT&T Director-Regulatory in San Francisco, California

Plans and implements activities for achieving regulatory and/or pricing objectives to include: Interfacing with and responding to Federal and State Regulatory Commissions (Federal Communications Commission and State Public Utility Commissions). Testifying in legal proceedings before regulatory bodies as an expert witness. Manages and coordinates all regulatory dockets to ensure favorable results. Interprets, sets and defends policies in front of regulatory and legislative bodies, as well as public forums. Represents reported BU to regulatory commissions/groups. Plans and implements overall strategies necessary to ensure regulatory approval and effective positioning of products/services. Reviews and summarizes major regulatory issues. Monitors overall compliance with commission rules and guidelines. May direct negotiations with cities on municipal fee ordinances, use of right-of-way, etc. Typically reports within third or senior management level. Supervisory: No
