Description
We are seeking a talented Systems Administrator to play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining critical IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of our systems while providing expert support to end users. Additionally, you will contribute to innovative solutions that keep our technology modern and competitive.
System Management: Manage and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. (Source: US Demand for Skilled Talent Q1 2025.pdf)
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes to minimize downtime and disruption.
Updates and Security: Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to systems and software; maintain compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance using tools and analytics to address potential risks proactively.
Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS.
Experience with virtual environments, including VMware, Azure, or AWS.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, LAN/WAN setups, and firewall configurations.
Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automating tasks.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
CompTIA Server+ or CompTIA Network+
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
