Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrician to perform a variety of tasks related to electrical systems on ships.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to repair and connect equipment for all electrical services onboard without supervision.
Responsibilities
Repair and connect equipment for all electrical services on the ship without supervision.
Lay out, pull, lift, and install cables and conduits without supervision.
Prepare work area, drill holes, grind metal surfaces, and mount equipment with minimal supervision.
Test electrical equipment in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items without supervision.
Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous shipyard or Navy experience working as a Marine Electrician or Electrician's Mate.
Work Environment
- The work will take place at various shipyards including NASSCO, BAE, CMSD, and NBSD.
Job Type & Location
- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.55 - $36.00/hr.
