Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in San Diego, California
Description
Robert Half is partnering with a San Diego based company that is looking to hire a Senior System Administrator. Overall, day to day for this position will focus on server administration, back ups, virtualization, Azure Active Directory, Group policy, Intune and general network support. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering flexibility in a hybrid onsite/remote model with a full benefits package! This position is full time with full benefits with 3 days onsite in North County San Diego.
Responsibilities:
Experience with Azure AD/ Microsoft Entra ID integrated cloud identity and access solution.
Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
Experience with VMware vCenter and virtual desktop technology.
Expertise in managing cloud-based virtual server and desktop services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Veeam back-up experience.
Experience in Azure Cloud.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in system
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) and Azure certifications are highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
Comfortable working onsite 3 days per week in North County San Diego.
