Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a part of Walmart Connect, you'll build industry - defining omni-channel ad platforms at scale that enable Walmart suppliers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products and enhanc ing their shopping journey.

We are looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead and define the next frontier through I n-Store Advertising and promotional experiences which further enable discovery and empower brand advertisers .

You'll make an impact by:

  • Driving the vision and strategy for in-store advertising including in-store omni experiences , point of sale , checkout, app experiences in a store setting , etc.

  • Defining and communicating the overall in-store strategy, prioritization, and timelines.

  • Building and launching capabilities to enable end-to-end customer experiences and monetization.

  • Collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, Measurement, eCommerce, Marketing , Store Operations teams to deliver world-class advert i sing solutions.

  • Delivering product roadmaps, analyzing customer insights data to drive actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.

  • Building relationships with business partners to align business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.

  • History of successfully attracting, building, leading, and mentoring a dedicated and diverse team of business leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required/MBA strongly desired.

  • 13 to 15 years in Product Management in d igital advertising / AdTech is must . Experience in DOOH and Omni-Channel Experiences is required .

  • Experience working in the retail industry is strongly preferred.

  • Additional experience in Business Strategy and operations is highly desired.

  • 10+ years of experience building and managing high performing team s

  • 5+ years current experience as a Senior Leader leading cross-functional leaders

  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.

  • Strong ability to navigate quantitative topics in measurement, incrementality, identity resolution, as well as f amiliarity with digital screen technologies , e.g. ESLs , etc.

  • Must be able to think and act strategically and tactically

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (whitepapers and presentations alike) are crucial .

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally internally and externally to deliver results

  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful product roadmaps and initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of retail media industry trends, emerging technologies, and market trends in retail .

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Requires knowledge of:

Product and feature analytics; Data analysis tools and techniques; Research for analysis activities; Documentation procedures (for example, data logs); Modern industry practices and emerging trends.

To extract insights and promote the value of insight extraction from complex data analytics. Guides and extracts relevant data to drive effective product decisions. Demonstrates awareness of best practices in insight extraction from databases techniques. Independently drives product/feature analytics.

To drive a culture to understand and address customization needs based on functional requirements. Enables the creation of an ecosystem that identifies and addresses unmet customer needs.

Product Roadmap and Development :

Requires knowledge of:

Product roadmap development techniques; Roadmap presentation; Roadmap features and items; Project management techniques; Modern business practice (for example, Agile methodologies, Scrum); Minimum Viable Product (MVP) creation; Product development lifecycles; Product development concepts (for example, "Crossing the Chasm")

To own roadmaps of multiple complex product lines/product families and works with leadership to ensure alignment with overall business strategy. Creates strategies/processes that drive compliance and ethical norms. Addresses external/market constraints. Reviews and updates PM processes to formalize expectations. Oversees MVP and final product rollout and scaling processes.

Product Vision and Strategy:

Requires knowledge of:

Problem formulation and solutioning; Hypothesis framing; Business strategies; Business management practices across multiple domains; Customer segments and needs; Domain-specific knowledge; "Go to Market" strategies; Industry, environmental, and economic factors and competitors; Product discovery process, product vision, product strategy and challenges; Rapid prototyping and Lean experimentation methodologies; Concepts of "First Principle," "Whole Product," and "Crossing the Chasm" .

To own multiple complex customer problem/needs. Promotes and drives value creation in evergreen and new areas using "Whole Product" concepts. Drives the product discovery process to improve product success. Creates guidelines for validation at different levels (for example, product, problem, user). Promotes strategies and vision and impacts on various related products. Provides guidance in creating "Go-to-Market" strategies by considering relevant user segments and ensuring mass adoption.

HOBOKEN, New Jersey US-10279/Los Angeles, California US-10988:The annual salary range for this position is $192,000.00-$384,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $208,000.00-$416,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30029:The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00-$320,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
