Google Product Manager, YouTube Premium in San Bruno, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.

  • 1 year of experience in a consumer product management role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of product management experience in a high-performing consumer or growth organization.

  • Experience with SQL, experiment design, and analysis.

  • Experience innovating, designing, and building user experiences.

  • Experience developing and owning technical roadmaps, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager for YouTube Premium, you will lead the design and development of new features from conception to launch. You’ll be focused on delivering value to current Premium members and helping attract subscribers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Own outcomes for projects within YouTube Premium.

  • Build an understanding of the member base through data analysis and user research to identify projects that will increase retention.

  • Develop product requirements and lead the execution of projects through experimentation, iteration, and successful launch.

  • Work and collaborate with engineering, UX, marketing, and other product areas within YouTube to deliver user value and grow the YouTube Premium subscriber base.
