Responsibilities
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – St. Bernardine Medical Center
St. Bernardine Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our dynamic rehabilitation team. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA plays an essential role in delivering hands-on therapeutic care to patients across a wide range of medical specialties, including neurology, orthopedics, oncology, cardiology, medical/surgical, and skilled nursing.
Key Responsibilities
Implement therapeutic treatment plans as delegated by the Occupational Therapist
Monitor patient progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising therapist
Support patients in regaining strength, mobility, and independence through customized interventions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with department protocols
Promote a healing environment while upholding the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center

Qualifications
Minimum Certificate of Completion for an Occupational Therapy Assistant
Currently certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or proof of eligibility to sit for the National Certification Exam given by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Inc.;
A licensed applicant must have proof of current applicant status
Current AHA-BLS certification.

Pay Range
$36.42 - $43.29 /hour
