Job Summary:
The Senior HR Data & Analytics Insights Professional will be responsible for providing data-driven insights that influence strategic HR decisions across the organization. This role works closely with a variety of stakeholders to serve as a strategic partner and provide deep insights that shape strategy, programs, and policies. This role’s ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and translate those insights into actionable strategies will directly impact our people and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquires, integrates, cleans, transforms, and analyzes vast amounts of raw data from various systems and internal and external datasets to identify opportunities, trends, issues, and insights that support workforce decision making.
Identifies opportunities for process automation. Tests and documents process and procedures.
Builds and maintains data pipelines from Workday or other data sources into Prism Analytics.
Facilitates self-service analytics through a working knowledge of systems architecture, data engineering needs, machine learning, and the development of effective visualization.
Creates reports to analyze workforce data and identify significant differences, relationships, root causes, and trends.
Develops and maintains dashboards using various tools such as Microsoft Power BI/Tableau and Workday Discovery Boards.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders (IT, HR, etc.) on the development and implementation of new systems and enhancements of existing systems.
Develops and analyzes custom and hoc reports and dashboards to support Senior Leadership and Board of Directors.
Identifies key insights by identifying and interpreting the most relevant trends, patterns, and implications from data.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field required.
Four (4) years of experience extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into a single repository, including implementing data storage solutions required.
Experience designing and developing dashboards and visual reports that provide meaningful insights about performance, predictions and KPIs required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
Three (3) or more years of experience with AI/ML concepts and algorithms, highly preferred.
Experience and knowledge of applied statistics, highly preferred.
Experience leading multiple data science projects ensuring alignment with business goals, highly preferred.
Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data and its implications for people and business outcomes.
Ability to craft compelling data stories that influence strategic direction and operational decisions using language that is intuitive and tailored to the audience.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
