Citigroup Product Management Lead-Vice President in San Antonio, Texas
The Product Management Lead will be accountable for management of varying products within Global Workforce Optimization. Requires in-depth understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function. This role should understand the business impact of technical contributions and how to align client and business needs into short- and long-term strategic plans. Commercial awareness is a necessity and can utilize that industry knowledge within products and services to drive strategic imperatives. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses. Strong communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting, and develop senior leadership level presentations.
Responsibilities:
Manage one of more products
Provide oversight across products and applications; leverage skills across multiple product support areas
Demonstrates an understanding of how apps support integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives; requires a good understanding of the industry
Vendor relationship management which may include global oversight
Maximize operational efficiencies, strengthening incident management, problem management and knowledge sharing practices.
Participates in business review meetings, relating product strategies to business requirements
Develops short term, medium, and long-term plans and executes functional strategies for a large/complex ecosystem requiring coordination and integration across clients and Technology, including strategic product roadmaps, program / product launches, and product enhancement deployments delivering maximum benefit for clients
Exercise control over work prioritization, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development, industry benchmarks, and client needs with overall technology function to achieve established goals
Deliver significant savings to the organization within fluid budgetary parameters
Influence multiple teams of professionals across a deeply matrixed organization to accomplish established goals
Utilize knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
Influence and negotiate with leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
May include team management responsibilities such as team management including but not limited to conducting personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant product ownership, vendor management, and technical experience
Experience in product and application strategy, support, and overall management
Experience managing global technology teams and navigating “follow the sun” approach to resourcing
Strong negotiation skills and experience of senior stakeholder management
Ability to make independent decisions that will have critical impact and influence capital expenditures and business operations
Working knowledge of industry practices, standards, and future approaches
Excellent communication skills required to influence a wide range of audiences
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree
Master’s degree preferred

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
