The Aerospace Government Program Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of buyers that plan and requisition Jet Engine parts for various government programs. The manager will serve as the primary liaison with government entities such as the USAF, DLA, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), ensuring the effective flow of parts and materials to meet program requirements. This role will also involve internal coordination with operations, engineering, supply chain, and program offices to resolve supply chain constraints and ensure that engine output goals and turnaround time (TAT) targets are achieved.

Supply Chain Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

Team Leadership and Management:

Lead and manage a team of buyers responsible for planning and requisitioning Jet Engine parts. Ensure that the team is meeting internal and external program objectives.

Parts Planning and Forecasting:

Create and maintain parts planning forecasts to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely availability of materials for engine production and repairs.

Government Customer Interface:

Act as the lead interface with government customers (i.e., USAF, DLA) on all program-related supply chain matters. Ensure clear communication and alignment between the customer and internal teams.

Cross-functional Coordination:

Lead internal coordination efforts with operations, engineering, supply chain, and the program office to address supply chain challenges, streamline processes, and ensure that supply chain operations run smoothly.

Supply Chain Constraints Management:

Work proactively to identify and resolve internal and external supply chain constraints that may impact program timelines and objectives.
