Wells Fargo HR Data Solutions Product Owner - Lead Product Manager in SAN ANTONIO, Texas

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an HR Data Solutions Group Product Owner (Lead Product Manager) to lead the Human Resource (HR) Data Solution Group supporting enterprise HR data provisioning and governance. This includes supporting the data request process as well as ensuring all data consumption is compliant with our policies. The product owner will represent HR data management and engage with People Analytics, Data Management and Insights, Enterprise Information Security, Enterprise Information Security Architecture and Risk & Audit teams on the HR data strategy across Wells Fargo.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review meetings for the HR Data Solutions Group.

  • Partner with other Product Owners, Scrum Teams and Tech Enablement teams to construct/manage Business Cases, Priorities and User Stories that clearly articulate the business need and enable effective work effort prioritization, in alignment with strategic plans and priorities.

  • Collaborate with project and scrum teams to ensure proper prioritization and capacity management of assigned agile team, gaining agreement across with teams and partners, as needed.

  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management.

  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and business execution.

  • Work independently and make recommendations for support function improvements.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.

  • Lead the product team in conducting research and providing information to stakeholders related to the product and team deliverables.

  • Maximize the value of our HR data product, primarily by incrementally managing and expressing business and functional expectations for the product to the delivery team.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting HR data or data governance functions.

  • Ability to manage complex HR data requirements and solutions through an agile framework .

  • Knowledge and understanding of agile methodologies and the roles of the participants.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of business and/or HR operational data.

  • Change management concepts and application, with proven ability to exemplify both flexibility within changing business environments and leading others through times of business uncertainty and organizational change.

  • Proven understanding of managing risk by inspecting all that we do, identifying issues early, escalating swiftly, and partnering effectively across all components of the risk management framework.

  • Demonstrated experience using Jira and or Confluence .

  • Knowledge and experience in working with a Kanban agile team .

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
