This job is for Hot Shot work. Driver will operate a F-350 Truck and Trailer. Must know how to load and unload. Transport cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Maintain mileage records for truck. Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods. Driver will coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured. Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport. Reports to owner/supervisor. Must be disciplined to work under minimal supervision. High school diploma or equivalent. May require a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Requires 1- 3 years of related experience. Must be able to pass a drug screening test and background check. Must have 2 work references.
