Kelly's Auto Repair Office Clerk in San Angelo, Texas

Responsibilities: Greet visitors and welcome customers as they arrive at the shop with a friendly andprofessional demeanor. Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing accurateinformation regarding our services. Manage incoming phone calls and screen or forward calls to the appropriate individuals. Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and empathetic manner, striving for effectiveresolution. Provide administrative support for various administrative tasks such as accounting, managing the flow ofpaperwork and some bookkeeping within the repair shop. This includes general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records accurately, such as customer account information, creating and documenting repair orders, creating invoices. Maintain organized records to ensure easy accessibility and retrieval ofinformation. Maintaining a cash drawer and taking different forms of payments accurately. Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work Fulltime, Monday thru Friday 8am-5:30pm. Punctuality and reliability are essential for this Full-time position. Professional and friendly demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills. Proven experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Some administrative support experience. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and customer information. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read and enter data of basic information of parts and maintenance on repair orders andinvoices. Ability to follow instructions and perform accurate work, as assigned. Ability to key data into automated databases in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to work effectively with coworkers. Comfortable driving, backing up and parking all different types of vehicles. Knowledge of automobile terminology and repair shop operations is a plus.
