PARATRANSIT SERVICES Transit Bus Mechanic in San Andreas, California
Journeyman level transit bus mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with small and medium buses. The current fleet is 12 buses; gas, diesel and electric powered. Majority of the work is centered around preventive maintenance checks and services. Must be able to acquire and manage a small parts inventory. Will be required to input data of vehicle inspections, services, and repair orders into an online fleet database software program. Provide monthly reports to General Manager. Must be able independently. Must be able to pas background checks, and pre-employment drug test, as all transit system is safety sensitive, employees and are enrolled in the federally required drug and alcohol program. Must have own basic set of hand tools. ASE Certification required. ( Can be substituted) ASE or MAC required for A/C 609 Certification. Class A or B CDL required, or able to obtain within 90 days (we train)
