Stadler US Inc. seeks Mechanical Final Assembly Technician (multiple positions) in Salt Lake City, UT.
Perform precision installation of mechanical and structural fixtures tailored for passenger trains.
Precisely follow specifications in blueprints, drawings and plans installation of material, according to quality standards.
Assemble or prepare units, systems, mechanical assembly, harness preparation, cable installation and wiring equipment.
Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic rail vehicle component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications in blueprints, drawings or schematics.
Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, plus 3 years of related experience. Requires 3 year of experience with each of the following:
installing mechanical and structural fixtures tailored for passenger trains.
working with different materials such as wood, plastics, and metals.
interpreting and following specifications in blueprints, drawings and plans for quality installation of material according to specifications.
adjusting, repairing, or replacing mechanical or electro-mechanical component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
utilizing power tools and hand tools to assemble mechanical components, systems and subsystems.
