STADLER US, INC. Lead Project Mechanical Engineer in SALT LAKE CTY, Utah

Stadler US Inc. seeks Lead Project Mechanical Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT.

 

• Handle mechanical designs for international projects of our modular vehicle families.

• Implement customer requirement specifications in compliance with national standards and regulations.

• Take ownership of all mechanical technical topics on the Project Team.

• Responsible for concepts, technical specifications, production documentation, test planning and type tests.

• Plan and manage internal engineering activities including system interfaces and approval planning.

• Create engineering documents.

 

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years of related experience. Additionally, position requires 3 years of experience with all of the following:

 

• conducting research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.

• establishing, directing and coordinating procedures, creating documentation, and evaluating the use of materials required to maintain equipment and systems in the prescribed condition.

• developing and testing alternate designs and assessing feasibility, sustainability, operating condition effects, potential new applications, or necessity of modification.

• researching, designing, evaluating, and selecting materials for mechanical products, equipment, systems or processes to meet specifications and requirements.

• collaborating and conferring with project personnel to identify and resolve mechanical engineering problems.
