ASSOCIATED FOOD STORES, INC. Sr Administrative Support Specialist in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for organizing and maintaining information for recipes, nutrition facts, allergen statements, pricing, label data, etc. for fresh food departments and monitors communication with retail store equipment. This Senior Specialist also provides retailer support, training, data entry and verification, problem solving, and helps maintain a positive team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data entry and clerical tasks.
- Customer service through phone and email for retail customers and corporate team.
- Communicates daily with retail department managers, vendors, category managers, corporate specialists, supervisors, etc.
- Demonstrates ability and knowledge of grocery or retail experience for training and problem-solving purposes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A Senior Administrative Support Specialist with an associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, a problem solver, creative and is a skilled in time management.
- A team player with professional customer service skills is a must.
- Must possess basic skills in data entry, accounting, and abilities in multiple communication mediums are required.
- Being able to perform under pressure of weekly deadlines is a must.
- Retail experience is preferred.
A good command of MS Office and other related computer skills (40-60 wpm and 10 key) is needed.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS
- Work is performed in a typical office environment. Job consists of working on a computer and would therefore require prolonged sitting and repetitive motion involved with keyboard and mouse. Also, prolonged exposure to computer screens and indoor lighting.
