As part of the finance team the Senior Accountant will be instrumental in maintaining, reconciling, analyzing, and budgeting at the Department of Public Safety in accordance to generally accepted accounting principles. The incumbent will serve as a liaison between the department divisions and university's financial services. They will also assist in other general business operations as assigned. Safety is a top priority for the University of Utah. The Chief Safety Officer (CSO) for the University is the Director of Public Safety and serves as chief of police services.
