The Eye Bank Tissue Recovery Specialist is a part-time position, and is responsible for the surgical recovery of corneal eye tissues for transplant and research. The role also performs and documents a donor physical and ocular assessment and surgical corneal excision; obtaining an adequate blood specimen for serological testing; and conducting professional interactions with hospital staff, OPO and tissue bank staff, coroners office, and funeral directors.The Utah Lions Eye Bankan extension of the John A.
