Are you the One?

We are seeking someone who has 5+ years managing in high volume dining operations . As a Food Service General Manager with Sodexo, you will:

  • Direct all contract management daily Food Operations for quality, safety and operations standards.

  • Have strong catering experience in a high-volume environment.

  • Control unit financials and maintain cash control and payroll records.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction, Client/Stakeholder relationships and good public relations.

  • Manage through managers and be accountable for the contract.

  • Provide local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

In addition to the GM responsibilities, this position will have a dual purpose and may also be assigned to manage and support on-site catering needs within our segments, including but not limited to Higher Education, Healthcare, Schools Senior Living facilities, etc. While assigned as Catering Manager, you will be responsible for all innovative event concepts, partnerships, and will oversee all aspects of our on-site catering program. Catering may include, but is not limited to, everything from simple boxed lunches, to branded retail drop offs, to 3 course served meals, 5-star meals, weddings, and other events.

Additional Requirements/Information:

While the COVID-19 vaccination is not typically required by Sodexo, it is required for these specific cross-segment, mobile management positions.

Applicants must be able to drive, have a valid driver's license, and clean driving history.

The minimum commitment to our mobile management positions is nine (9) months. Upon completion of nine (9) months in your role, you will be allowed to post for other internal opportunities. Exemptions may be granted by the Team Director.

For this traveling position, the targeted salary range is $62,000 - $77,000 depending on your experience and qualifications.
