Lease Documentation Manager

Our client, a leading leasing and asset retail company, is growing and seeking to add a Lease Documentation Manager to their team. This is an exciting time to join this stable yet growing organization that works with several Fortune 500 companies across the United States. This is a great role for someone who enjoys automating processes, making improvements, being very hands on and making a difference. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of lease documentation management experience, have led a team, have improved processes, and are looking for their next challenge and a place to roll up their sleeves.

What will the Lease Documentation Manager be doing?

  • Managing the documentation processes for asset-based lending and equipment financing lease transactions

  • Coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely completion of documentation

  • Developing and maintaining documentation processes, templates, and procedures

  • Developing and mentoring team members, acting as a subject matter expert

  • Identifying bottlenecks and areas for process improvement

  • Utilizing SalesForce and automation tools

  • Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and properly executed

  • Troubleshooting any contract issues

  • Tracking active contracts (extensions, renewals, or close outs)

  • Staying up to date on any contract changes

  • Ensuring appropriate contract terms and conditions are in place to mitigate risk

  • Ensuring contracts are within compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal controls

  • Building strong business relationships with staff, direct reports, and clients

  • Ensuring team goals are met

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of asset-based lending experience

  • 5+ years of equipment financing/lease documentation experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) highly preferred

  • Contract law experience helpful

  • Strong leadership experience

  • Prior team management experience

  • Strong knowledge of documentation requirements and regulations for asset-based lending and equipment financing lease transactions

  • SalesForce experience highly desired

  • Experience with lease accounting software and documentation systems

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Proven ability to identify, streamline and implement processes

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities
