University of Utah Lab Technician in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Our laboratory investigates the biology and targeted therapy of myeloid blood cancers, particularly myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The successful applicant will support students and postdoctoral fellows in the lab by conducting biochemistry, molecular biology, cell culture, and animal studies. Additional responsibilities may include ordering, keeping the lab clean and safety-compliant, preparing reagents and buffers, and managing day-to-day lab needs.We are looking for highly enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic who can interact well with others as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to be flexible in work practices are highly valued characteristics which interested candidates should possess.
