As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will:
- Provide support and advise Utah Transit Authority (UTA) client groups on complex and strategic employee and labor issues and help them manage employee/labor relations.
- Assist executives, managers, and supervisors in applying and interpreting human resource (HR) policies, procedures, collective bargaining agreement (CBA), federal and state employment law.
- Be involved in talent selection, development, and deployment for client groups.
- Develop and teach leaders.
- Advise management regarding organizational design, position development, and job evaluations.
- Assist in creating/updating job descriptions to document changing relationships, roles, and duties in the company.
- Administer the corporate staffing plan and position control; assist managers in modeling labor needs with the business.
- Coordinate and update employee data with human resources information systems (HRIS).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years of human resources work experience in supporting client groups within an organization.
- Experience must include employee relations, talent management, compensation, learning and development, and change management.
- Experience with unions and labor relations preferred.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.

As a full-time Administrative Employee, your Total Rewards Benefits Package will include:

Pay Range: $90,900.00 annually or more depending on experience.
