Engineering Technician
Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is looking for an Engineering Technician to help make our engineering department better. This is a challenging job with never-ending opportunities to learn. We do not expect you to arrive knowing everything to succeed at this job – we will help you learn all of that. We do want you to have attributes that will enable you to succeed.

HOW WE WILL HELP YOU:
You will work with a multi-disciplinary, experienced engineering team that will help you learn engineering and design skills. Here are some of the things you will learn with us:
Prototyping – we will help you learn how to quickly find answers to questions by building prototypes. You will have access to a lab full of assembly and cutting equipment, CNC machining, and 3D printing services.
3D modeling – we will help you learn how to make robust models using Solidworks.
Engineering fundamentals – we help you strengthen and apply your engineering skills through practical, hands-on experience in real-world projects.
Automation – we will help you learn about the electrical, mechanical, and control-system elements that are used to build automated equipment.
Project management – we will help you learn how to manage projects of a creative, iterative nature
Teamwork – we will help you learn how to work on a team to achieve things no one person could do alone.
Design for manufacturability – we will help you learn how to design parts that can be machined quickly, with good tolerances, and at low cost.
Statistics – we will help you learn to uses statistical methods to gain knowledge that is not easily seen otherwise
Systems thinking – we will help you learn to see complex systems as a whole and to design and improve them from that perspective.
