JOB SUMMARY
The Deli Operational Specialist position is located at the Associated Retail Operations (ARO) office in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Service Deli Operational Specialist provides assistance to service deli managers and store managers and advises them on service deli programs, procedures, and changes in division policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audits policy, procedures and program follow-through at store level and reports status to sales merchandise managers or the regional director.
- Provides coaching and training for service deli managers.
Researches and analyzes technical problems at store level and recommends changes in merchandising and/or operating techniques.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- A Deli Operational Specialist must be able to work well with others
- Ability to effectively communicate - both written and verbal - policies, procedures, and desired standards
- Experience in deli operations and merchandising preferred
- Ability to perform profitable deli department operations
