WOLFF EXCAVATING, INC. CDL A Truck Driver - Dump Truck - Side Dump in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields is preferred
- Commercial driver's license, Class A with medical card
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Upon job offer, must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening tests, driving record review, and consent to a FMCSA query
- Must not be under 21 years of age
- Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Have reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck (26,000 pounds GVW and up): primarily dump truck, side dump, and transport.
- Properly track and document activity
- Report any issues or incidents to the truck supervisor or office
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Perform basic maintenance on trucks/trailers
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Physical labor as needed
- Abide by all company safety procedures, including a zero tolerance for harassment and violence
- Wear personal protective equipment, clothing, and footwear as required
- Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations
- Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration
