Job Summary

The Campus Store is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Campus Store Associate, at our Campus Store Health location, specializing in sales to the University Hospital community. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales specifically tailored to the needs of the hospital complex.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Provide product information, answer inquiries, and offer recommendations to customers.

  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries with tact and efficiency.

  • Promote and sell products tailored to the needs of the University Hospital community.

  • Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet sales targets.

  • Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize revenue.

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of products catering to hospital clientele.

  • Receive and process shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in restocking shelves as needed.

  • Maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout.

  • Set up displays and promotional materials to highlight featured products.

  • Ensure products are properly labeled with accurate pricing and information.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the store environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a current University of Utah student.

Preferences

Prior retail experience, preferably in a customer service or sales role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Knowledge of healthcare products and terminology (preferred, but not required).
