Career-line faculty position at the University of Utah . The Department of Psychology at the University of Utah invites applications for a full-time, benefited teaching faculty position (called career-line at the university) to support our growing undergraduate major. The position will begin in August for the start of the Fall 2024 semester. We welcome applications from any area of psychology including (but not limited to) those that complement the department’s existing emphasis areas in cognitive, clinical, developmental, health, quantitative, and/or social psychology. The faculty member will teach courses such as research methods and statistics along with broad or upper-level content courses that are focused in the candidate’s specific area of expertise. Candidates should provide evidence of an excellent and sustained record of teaching, commensurate with their career stage. Hiring may be at the Assistant or Associate level. A 3:3 teaching load is expected.

Review of applications will begin January 15, 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. Candidates must have earned or anticipate earning a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field by the start date of the position.
