ASSOCIATED FOOD STORES, INC. Accountant - Retail (Salt Lake City, UT) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Retail Accountant's responsibilities include compiling financial statements for 15 - 20 grocery stores.
- Preparation of income taxes (individual and corporate), providing operational consultation, tax planning, and other duties as assigned.
Work days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
*QUALIFICATIONS: *
- Three years accounting experience in compilation and/or small business consulting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent, and knowledge of the grocery industry would be helpful.
- Some travel may be required.
- Applicants for the Retail Accountant position should be able to work under pressure dealing with many deadlines.
- Applicants must also have good writing ability and excellent communications and organizational skills.
