Robert Half HR Operations Consultant in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description We are looking for a highly skilled HR Operations Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on optimizing HR systems, enhancing Paylocity usage, and supporting organizational change initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, process improvement, and compensation planning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide training and resources to ensure effective use of Paylocity features and updates.

• Develop dashboards and train teams on generating reports to support data-driven HR decisions.

• Collect and analyze user feedback to refine HR system processes for improved efficiency.

• Collaborate with leadership to design and implement a comprehensive compensation philosophy.

• Research and benchmark employee relocation packages, bonus programs, and work-life balance benefits.

• Update and enhance programs such as service awards, sabbaticals, and mental health benefits.

• Create and document standard operating procedures for key HR and finance-related processes.

• Manage updates to the Employee Handbook and streamline onboarding and offboarding procedures.

• Partner with leadership on Family Medical Leave planning and other cross-departmental initiatives.

• Provide backup support for HR leadership and assist with annual training and policy updates. Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in HR operations or a related field.

• Expertise in Paylocity and other HR systems, with a proven ability to optimize system usage.

• Strong knowledge of change management strategies and communication planning.

• Experience in developing compensation structures and benchmarking HR programs.

• Excellent skills in business process improvement and organizational alignment.

• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and consulting skills to drive impactful HR solutions.
