This position, located in our corporate offices out of either Bloomington, MN or Marshall, MN, is responsible for administering our CJ Schwan’s Company Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) supplier audit compliance program. Responsibilities: + Develops and maintains relationships with United States-based and non-domestic auditing firms to ensure audit compliance needs are met in a cost-effective manner. + Develops and maintains relationships with business unit partners and suppliers to ensure corporate audit compliance goals are met in a timely manner based on the needs of our customers. + Assists FSQ management in organizing and administering a comprehensive corporate food safety and quality supplier audit compliance program. + Assists FSQ management in the development and review process of all corporate supplier audit procedures. + Interprets policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory statutes regarding FSQ supplier audit compliance inquiries and issues. + Creates reports and analyzes current and past supplier audit data to support management requests and to identify areas of opportunity to improve supplier compliance. + Assists the Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager in conducting second party audits, reviewing third party audit information, and analyzing other supplier documentation to determine audit qualified status of supplier. + Organizes and administers the gathering of third-party audit information from suppliers as required by corporate FSQ audit compliance requirements and maintains the internal audit database. + Uses Product specification software to assist Supplier Quality Specialists with the specification development process. + Be responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct. Preferred Qualifications: Education: bachelor’s degree in science (e.g., food science, microbiology, biology) or equivalent Years of Related Experience: 0-3 years (this is more of an entry level role) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: + Intermediate PC skills with MS Office, Outlook, SAP and SharePoint. + Knowledge of food safety and quality audit standards and HACCP preferred. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, including governmental regulations. + Must be able to prioritize, be objective and use logic to solve problems.
