Nexeo HR is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician I in Southern Utah to support a dynamic manufacturing lab's quality control and testing efforts. This role is key in maintaining product integrity by managing sample testing,documentation,equipment calibration,and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager,this position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced lab environment with opportunities for continuous improvement and learning.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills,excellent attention to detail,and is eager to contribute to a high-functioning lab team. Prior lab experience is a plus,but not required training will be provided.

Responsibilities
Receive and organize finished goods samples from the production floor.
Perform physical testing on raw materials and finished products.
Conduct FTIR analysis and cleaning verification titrations.
Submit samples for third-party testing (microbial,heavy metals,potency,etc.).
Manage retention samples and pull from inventory as needed.
Calibrate and maintain lab instruments,ensuring proper documentation.
Clean and organize laboratory space according to procedures.
Report,review,and maintain records of all quality-related activities.
Identify and report nonconformities or process improvements.
Sign off on testing performed by others (once trained).
Follow all SOPs,GMP guidelines,and safety protocols.
Other testing and support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous lab or quality control experience preferred.
Ability to read,write,and communicate effectively in English.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Familiarity with GMP standards and SOP compliance.
Comfortable handling confidential information.
Ability to manage priorities and work independently once trained.
Physical Demands
Mostly sedentary with occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs.).
Manual dexterity and repetitive motion tasks.
Walking,talking,and hearing regularly required.
Work Environment
Primarily lab/office setting with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) required in designated areas.
Standard ambient temperatures and lighting.
Pay
$17.50 Per Hour
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday Friday | Day Shift | On-Site
