Actalent Structural Engineer in Saint Charles, Illinois
A civil engineering and design firm located in the western suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a structural Engineer to their team!
Job Description:
Seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in design and construction of concrete and steel tankage, masonry buildings, concrete structures, steel frame structures (walkways, stairs, pipe supports, etc.), with expertise in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Provide structural engineering services for a broad range of projects
Develop the basis of design
Coordination of structural elements in support of process design
Direct the design team for preparation of drawings and specification
Support during the construction phase
Requirements:
BS and a Master's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience
SE preferred; open to candidates with SIT
Expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design
Experience in soils and foundation design
Experience in temporary structures and formwork
Experience in masonry and wood framing
