SVRC Industries Carter Kits Non-Profit Operations Manager in Saginaw, Michigan

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time -- Exempt

RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Information Security Officer

Carter Kits is a 501c3 non profit organization that focuses on providing sensory kits and training to first responders and other professionals to improve communication and outcomes when interacting with those on the Autism spectrum or who otherwise have sensory sensitivities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of Carter Kits projects and initiatives to include fund raising, sales, marketing, order and inventory tracking, and community relations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Works with Carter Kits Board of Directors to develop and execute organizational strategic plan.
  • Communicates via all methods required with customers, vendors, partners, the Carter Kits Board of Directors, and the public.
  • Attends meeting and events as representative of Carter Kits.
  • Organizes and executes fund raising activities for Carter Kits.
  • Procures, processes, and requests shipment of orders to customers.
  • Creates purchase orders for order fulfilling center.
  • Invoices customers.
  • Manages order tracking system.
  • Maintains accurate inventory records.
  • Serves as liaison between Carter Kits and order fulfillment center.
  • Performs quality inspections on products as necessary.
  • Maintains an organized system of record keeping.
  • Submits required administrative, financial, and project-related form and documents, complete and on time.
  • Maintains a safe, clean work environment which meets MIOSHA standards.

MARGINAL JOB FUCTIONS:

  • May be responsible for special projects as requested by the Carter Kits Board of Directors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An Associates degree, at minimum
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience in implementing, providing, and managing programs
  • Experience with public speaking
  • Experience engaging in professional dialogue with others

PAY SCALE:

  • $47,000 - $60,000 base wage, commensurate with experience
