Oracle Corporate Systems Program Director in Sacramento, California

Job Description

The Corporate Systems and Programs team is looking for a dynamic, experienced Program Director to lead lead strategic cross-functional projects, which will include requirements gathering, solution and design, as well as testing and implementation.

Corporate Systems and Programs is part of the Corporate Operations function reporting to the CEO’s office. Our primary objective is to help the organization continue Oracle's transformation, by ensuring that the internal adoption of Oracle's technologies is successful, while providing outstanding customer and employee experiences.

Responsibilities

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Oracle’s own deployment of Oracle products is a leading showcase of sophisticated business thinking

  • Work collaboratively with cross functional leadership teams on strategic initiatives - providing continuity and direction to help Oracle scale its business applications and processes

  • Drive business process efficiencies, and explore new concepts and business models; understanding the levers that drive an integrated process and work across the functional organizations to deliver an optimal solution

  • Prioritize internal and external customer experience while designing business processes and system solutions

  • Lead cross functional requirements gathering, design/solutioning, planning, testing, and Go-Live enablement sessions

  • Act as an organizational change catalyst and a key interface and bridge between the various Lines of Business (LOB’s) and Information Technology (IT) teams

  • Work as a business partner with IT teams and help bridge the business & technical communication

  • Provide balanced judgement and demonstrate problem-solving skills in extremely complex and ambiguous situations

  • Create and present quality training and communication material across various platforms zooming in or out to match with the need of the audience

  • Become a trusted advisor and authority on ‘system’ and/or ‘process’ best practices

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of related experience, including:

  • 3+ years of cross functional project management or operations experience

  • 5+ years of providing business and/or financial analysis related to project or program initiative management

  • 7+ years of experience in one of the leading ERP solutions: Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or PeopleSoft Finance, etc.

  • Experience with Cloud business models and Hosted solutions

  • Previous experience on medium to large project in business analysis/project management role

  • This role does not require formal project management training but instead requires an individual great at coordinating multiple teams, leading teams to an agreed solution, ‘chasing the details’, and helping to ‘translate’ information to drive decisions thru to conclusion

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills including:

  • Ability to customize and communicate messages according to the audience (e.g., EVP to IC level)

  • Ability to quickly grasp large picture / end-to-end business process and system functionality

  • Ability to detail end to end process and/or business requirements

  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and function in a fast-paced, complex environment, while maintaining a highly collaborative working culture

  • Standout colleague who can work with diverse personalities; uses others expertise and shares information & expertise to optimize results and meet objectives

  • Ability to influence others without a direct line of management

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $109,100 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
