Edwards Lifesciences Specialist Clinical Imaging, TMTT in Saarland, Germany

Assess new product and procedure development, patient selection criteria development, patient screening, and early clinical imaging training/case support for both novel and iterative devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations

• Analyze imaging and/or oversee third party image analysis for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases for early feasibility and clinical study candidates

• Collaborate with NPD team and HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria as well as screening and follow-up protocols. Train field support team and/or HCPs on cardiac imaging procedures as appropriate

• Incidental: Create training content relevant to imaging procedures and image analysis for health care professionals and/or field support team

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in in biological or life sciences, animal science, or other related scientific or technical field, 3 years years experience of previous in-hospital and/or industry clinical echocardiographic experience Required or

Other: in certification in RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) within ARSMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent certification , 5 years years experience of previous related experience Required

Additional Skills:

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

• Good imaging analysis software skills (e.g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.)

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

• Able to effectively guide and instruct other imaging specialists in clinical settings on effective imaging equipment operation

• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Must be able to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter-departmental teams, HCPs and KOLs

• Solid knowledge of relevant imaging equipment operation (e.g. 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.)

• Solid knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging

• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines

• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices

• Strict attention to detail

• Work is performed independently on more complex projects and/or lines of work and reviewed for accuracy and soundness

• Participates in determining objectives of assignment; arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives

• Contributes to the completion of more complex organizational projects and goals

• Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify

• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects

• Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships

• Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

• Contributes to process improvements

• Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
