HR Manager - Benelux

Are you a seasoned HR professional ready to make an impact across a dynamic, international organisation? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager to be the go-to HR expert within our local operations in the Benelux region. In this role, you’ll partner with global Centres of Excellence, Shared Services, and local leadership to ensure smooth delivery of HR programs while ensuring compliance with regional employment laws and company policies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary local HR expert, managing a comprehensive range of HR functions, including:

  • Employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives

  • Compensation, benefits, and rewards programs

  • Recruitment coordination and onboarding

  • Leave management, work restrictions and absence tracking

  • HR audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting

  • Conduct internal employee investigations and manage the full disciplinary and termination processes—including the preparation of legal documentation—in accordance with local employment law and company policies.

  • Provide expert advice on labour and employment matters, applying in-depth knowledge of local legislation and collective bargaining agreements (CBA).

  • Manage the administration of the CBA and maintain active engagement with unions and works councils.

  • Participate in collective bargaining and other labour negotiations, ensuring strong, collaborative relationships with employee representative bodies.

  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and programs in close alignment with global and regional HR teams.

  • Handle escalated HR matters from Centres of Excellence and Shared Services, ensuring resolution is timely, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Promote HR operational efficiency by supporting self-service tools, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining organizational structure integrity.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s degree or equivalent HR qualifications preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive HR experience with a strong understanding of local employment law, HR disciplines and employment relations profile.

  • Fluency in English and the local language (written and verbal).

  • You will be based in the Netherlands, with flexibility to work from our Reitscheweg office and occasional travel to our Belgium office as needed.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.

  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • A change champion with a passion for process improvement and employee experience.
