Job Overview:

As a Product Engineer at Dust Free, you will be instrumental in supporting the design and development of our innovative air quality products. This position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to projects that positively impact indoor environments and overall health. We are looking for passionate individuals who are driven to create solutions for healthier living spaces, combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain product documentation, including technical manuals, spec sheets, and marketing materials.

  • Manage the Product Information Management (PIM) system to ensure accurate and comprehensive product data.

  • Utilize CAD software like SolidWorks to develop and refine product designs, focusing on innovation and air purification effectiveness.

  • Aid in designing and engineering air quality products in alignment with Dust Free's mission to enhance indoor environments.

  • Interface with regulatory agencies such as EPA, CARB, FCC, UL, and ETL to ensure all products meet air quality and safety standards.

  • Coordinate logistics and materials for trade show participation, showcasing Dust Free’s commitment to air quality innovation.

  • Develop process documentation and visuals to enhance manufacturing processes for air-quality products.

  • Collaborate with the design, manufacturing, and quality control departments to maintain high product standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Environmental, or a related field focusing on air quality.

  • 1-year experience in product management, particularly in air quality or environmental products, is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks

  • Familiarity with air quality standards and compliance procedures

  • Approximately 10% of domestic travel

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities

  • Strong critical thinking and business curiosity; ability to drive insights and decisions utilizing multiple inputs and data sources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluency

Work Environment:

Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
