Actalent Survey CAD Technician in Royal Palm Beach, Florida
Job Description:
Prepares and produces survey documents as directed. Performs project research, reviews plats, calculations, maintains records and prepares CAD drawings, survey sketches and legal descriptions. Familiar with a variety of survey concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, maps and documents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide field crew support when necessary
CAD and Survey computer skills
Operational Knowledge of Bentley OpenSite/OpenRoads/Microstation/AudoCAD
Working knowledge of survey and civil engineering practices
Process Survey Data from Data Collectors
Working knowledge of Topographic/Design/Boundary & Construction Surveys
Compute Construction Stakeout and earthwork calculations
Related surveying services in support of engineering work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
This position requires a High School Diploma, G.E.D.; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 5 year’s experience in construction or land development surveys preferred.
College graduate with related degree and less experience will be considered

Primary engineer for all the horse farms in wellington, engineer of record for worlds largest horse show. Equestrian projects, Wellington international is a client
HNW clients (Forbes 500), ultra high net worth clients and communities
Working with DOT and Palm Beach County
Survey work is boundary, topographic, construction, layout, final surveys, permits. They don't have production surveys but doesn't mean they wouldn't. They do more property/development surveys
