Our Product Technologists play an essential role in creating technologies that drive human progress. Using our in-depth product knowledge, we provide pre-sales technical expertise for the development and implementation of complex products, applications and solutions. We’re relied upon to deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers and provide technical input into bid proposals. We also assess the potential of products to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • The CSG Site Client Technologist is responsible for the following:

  • To deliver advanced CSG product portfolio technical knowledge on features, benefits, configurations, capabilities, use-cases, product roadmaps, and competitive products to Customers and Dell Sales Teams.

  • To acquire/maintain technical expertise with constant internal and external training/education on industry trends and emerging client computing technology.

  • To maintain a relationship and provide customer feedback to all CSG Product Groups.

  • To be the key CSG product technical resource on large sales opportunities and proposals through SFDC engagements.

  • To present at Executive and Solution Briefing Center customer visits on targeted CSG product roadmaps, features, and technology.

  • To provide enhanced product training to CSG Specialty Technical and Core Commercial Sales teams.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience/education

  • 3-5 Years of direct Dell Customer Engagement in a Technical Sales/Support Role

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability for travel <20% to support and present at Dell customer meetings, conferences, and trade events.
