Become a HR Information Systems Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job you will be part of the People Strategy, HR Ops and Governance team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). You will support HR’s journey to the Cloud, Digital Transformation and the overall optimization of SCE’s HR Technology solutions. You will play a key role in supporting HR technology applications and third-party interfaces and ensuring effective alignment of processes and technology with the broader HR Digital Transformation Strategies. You will provide consultative, as well as direct, support to HR leaders and subject matter experts on technology best practices, road maps, opportunities for automation and process improvement as well as technical compliance with existing plans and policies.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Configure, maintain, and implement SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance Management, Compensation and other related HR Modules.

  • Perform administration activities in the SuccessFactors system and forms, manage user accounts and profiles, and troubleshoot system issues as necessary.

  • Develop forms and reports using the SAP SuccessFactors forms designer tool.

  • Ensure the continuous service delivery and support of SAP SuccessFactors modules.

  • Communicate with HR stakeholders to identify their data needs and requirements, which include understanding their problems, goals, and constraints.

  • Main point of contact for SuccessFactors system-related issue resolution and handling technology related recurring operational activities.

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in HR Technology and how it can be demonstrated at SCE.

  • Be available for any after-hours critical system outages and changes as needed.

The essentials

  • Seven or more years of experience designing, configuring, implementing, and managing SAP SuccessFactors modules.

  • Five or more years of experience in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors.

The preferred

  • Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, HR, or related fields.

  • SAP SuccessFactors certification.

  • Experience working in Human Resources department for fortune 500 company

  • Experience in Human Resources areas such as Recruitment, Employee Central, Onboarding, Learning, and HR Operations.

  • Experience creating technical roadmap for SAP SuccessFactors and technical delivery of solutions within the assigned domain.

  • High-level understanding of third-party integrations with HRIS applications.

  • Experience defining and documenting system requirements, project scope & user

  • Ability to analyze and review complex processes and recommend and implement process improvements.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise content

  • Interpersonal communication skills including the ability to deal with all levels of senior leadership.

  • Effective decision making, results delivery, and team building skills.

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
