Roosevelt Infusion Therapy Center RN
The RN is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency.

- Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, administration, and staff.
- Represents the organization positively and professionally in the community.

- Arrives to work on time and ready to start. Manages time wisely throughout the shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Care may include but is not limited to the following:
- Registration, assessment, and vital signs.
- Place peripheral lines for new patients and provide education on therapy.
- IV placement, ultrasound-guided peripheral IV insertions, IV assessment, and care throughout treatment.
- Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC Line) insertions, willing to learn and complete the education course when applicable.
- Chemotherapy certified, or willing to get certification when needed.
- Critical thinking on wound care and management of wounds.
- Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment.
- Uses knowledge and practices by the Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Organization and Clerical skills.
- Recognize and appreciate cultural diversity.
- Housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of the pre-authorization process.
- Restock supplies, and organize department needs.
- Other duties and tasks assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Utah RN Licensure.
- Current BLS
