Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for unloading, verifying, and staging inbound merchandise using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners. Your work will be essential to maintaining the smooth flow of goods throughout our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Unload inbound merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling.
Stage merchandise in designated scanning areas.
Verify pallet counts and sign freight bills of lading.
Use handheld scanners to identify and sort merchandise by department.
Apply accurate receiving labels to products.
Restack and wrap merchandise for transport and stocking.
Report overages, shortages, or damages to the Supervisor.
Deliver scanned merchandise to appropriate warehouse staging areas.
Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Follow supervisor instructions and maintain consistent attendance.
Comply with all safety and housekeeping standards.

Shipping and receiving knowledge
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Willingness to work overtime when required
Good organizational, math, and communication skills
Ability to maintain accurate records and solve problems
Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
Power Equipment Certification is a plus
Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
