VCA Animal Hospitals Associate Veterinarian - Part Time - Rome, NY in Rome, New York
VCA Rome Animal Hospital located in Rome, NY is looking for a Part Time Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.
Rome Animal Hospital has a highly dedicated experienced staff that fully support all of their doctors. We perform surgical procedures 5 days a week
Open 6 days/week, no on-call hours, schedule includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating half day on Saturday.
Rome is located in central New York, in the western part of Oneida County, and is part of the Mohawk River Valley. Rome is at the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains where there are countless recreational opportunities, amazing arts and entertainment and an abundance of historic treasures. This position is intended to be performed in full or in part in New York - The salary range for this position is $50-60k.
In the summer months one can enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming and the like on beautiful shores of Oneida Lake, including trips to Sylvan Beach Amusement Park packed with rides, games, shopping and waterfront dining. The stunning Turning Stone Casino & Resort offers endless entertainment.
In the winter months get an amazing view of the Adirondack Park on the chairlift at McCauley Mountain Ski and Recreation Center or hit the city-bound slopes at Val Bialas in Utica. In Rome explore a true piece of American history at Fort Stanwix, a reconstructed 18th century post known for its critical role in the American Revolution. Or check out the Erie canal that boasts a 36-mile stretch open to pedestrians and bicyclists at the Old Erie Canal.
