About the position:

1. Primary Objective of the Position

• The Transfusion Ambassador is responsible for performing technical support for Transfusion customers, on Alinity instruments, GLP automation system and any other products that are part of the Abbott Transfusion solution.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on Alinity instruments installed at Transfusion sites.

• Provide application support (Software, Assays…)

• Be the main reference for Transfusion Customers, establishing a relationship based on trust.

• Be part of the service team to support the Sales Team and manage contract implementation.

• Be part of a network of technical experts for Europe.

• Assist Sales Executives with regular customer business reviews.

• Inventory and order management: ensure inventories/standing orders match customer needs.

• Provide Pro-Active support (including preventative maintenance) analyzing instrument logs by using the given tools.

• Provide customer trainings at customer site.

3. Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree/degree in medical/electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering or medical technology is preferred.

4. Background

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in biomedical device service support

• Experience in a similar position.

• Successful customer engagement.

• Excellent product and industry knowledge (IVD).

• Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics.

• Basics solution selling.

• Excellent relationship building skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to identify and drive problem resolution.

• Long-term strategic focus on the account.

• Strong experience using analytics and software

• Knowledge of customer satisfaction score (NPS), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Good spoken and written English

5. Position Impact

• Perform high level technical support for Transfusion Customers, on Alinity series instrumentation, GLP Automation System, and any other systems that are part of the Abbott Transfusion solution.

• Be a key role on blood supply chain by ensuring that Transfusion laboratories deliver expected results, maintaining on-time blood supply/distribution having a positive impact on patient management.

• Drive customer satisfaction of Transfusion accounts.
