The role you’ll contribute:
Under general supervision, the Interventional Neuro Radiology (INR) Registered Nurse performs sterile diagnostic, radiographic (IR), therapeutic endovascular (NI) and non-vascular interventional radiographic procedures and supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing personnel in the procedural area. Takes call as rotated/assigned and responds (in hospital) within 30 minutes. Provides safe care and processing of patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all
Qualifications - External
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of procedure-specific equipment (EKOS AngioJet, Sonosite, etc.)
Knowledge of Fluoroscopic equipment
Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Interventional Neuro Radiology
Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds
Independent judgment
Be able to anticipate physician needs
Ingenuity and initiative
Critical Care experience with Neuro patients
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year Critical Care Experience, preferably in Neuro ICU
Associate Degree Nursing
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Georgia State license as a Registered Nurse
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
