As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide individualized supported living services, including support, training, and oversight to clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their own homes and communities. Our ideal candidate is passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities, has relevant experience, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide support, training, and oversight to clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their own homes and communities

· Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and other daily living activities

· Implement individualized support plans and document client progress

· Attend meetings and specialized training as required

· Maintain appropriate certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Med Aide)

· Complete documentation and reports as required

· Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· One year of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities, or successful completion of approved training

Additional Qualifications:

· Ability to interact and work effectively with people

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Punctuality and excellent attendance

· Good computer skills

· Knowledge of service provision in the field

· Reliable means of communication and transportation

· Valid driver's license and proof of insurance (if driving is required)

· Working air conditioner and heater in personal vehicle (if transporting clients)
