Essential Responsibilities: Support manufacturing needs, including production related matters involving day to day troubleshooting. Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems. Develop and modify manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing processing methods and equipment. Work with other team members and vendors. Ensures equipment is operational by collaborating with maintenance while following manufacturer s instructions and established procedures. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networks
