Prysmian Group Production Coordinator in Rocky Mount, North Carolina
POSITION SUMMARY :
This role will be responsible for driving output from the cutline department while coordinating with the OEM and daily desk departments. This role will help ensure alignment between groups to process the right material at the right time. Traffic coordination comes secondary and will be driven from the cutline activities. Organizational and time management skills are essential in addition communication and the ability to work with teams. The role will report to the Distribution Supervision.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Review cut line demand and priorities daily
Schedule cuts to optimize output while considering daily needs and shipping schedule
Coordinate and regularly communicate with OEM work cells and Daily Desk leaders
Select and contact freight carriers for outbound shipments
Generate and provide daily reports to Distribution Leadership
Provide improvement suggestions and work with logistics leadership to implement
Participate in pass downs with all three shifts to ensure cutline department direction is provided
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory control activities
Communicates issues, priorities, lead times, etc. to other departments, contributing to overall service level
Performs other duties assigned by Manager or Supervisor in support of departmental goals.

This job is designed to encompass a range of concurrent and relatively equal responsibilities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer literate with strong background in Microsoft Office and Excel
Must be detail orientated
Experience in warehousing and distribution environment with strong WMS knowledge (SAP Experience preferred)
Must possess good organizational and time management skills
