Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, fix, and improve equipment used in plastics and metals operations. This role requires maintaining good housekeeping in any assigned area and ensuring all company policies and safety rules are followed on any shift.
Responsibilities
Execute preventative maintenance according to the schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Use troubleshooting skills to identify and solve equipment improvements.
Complete machine tear down/repair and assembly.
Work with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met.
Start up and shut down all production equipment and systems.
Conduct equipment inspections and verification of proper working condition.
Safely operate a forklift.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
3 years or more of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience with Injection Blow Molding and Plastics is a big plus.
Electrical skills are a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair in an industrial setting.
Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Robotics experience is beneficial.
Steel toes required.
Basic tools will be provided, but must have basic personal tools.

Work Environment
The work environment includes working in a highly robotic, automated, and laser-equipped plastic injection molding plant. The facility operates on two shifts: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday. The dress code requires steel-toe boots, and tools will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockwall, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
